Okay
sae a'm writin’ in Sassenach noo - weel ‘at is fur ah huv a wee hidden agenda.
Lately ah huv bin readin’ thae books set in th` Scottish Heilans 'n' a'm
likelie a bawherr obsessed wi' it noo (Just ca' it whit it's: "The Stoatin
Escape frae th' Thesis"). Ah huv aye loo’d Scotish 'n' noo ah huv bin
readin’ Wikipedia aboot th' Scots Hielan 'n' th' history - especially th'
Gallic Medieval 'n' ah checked oot places 'n' castles mentioned in th' books ‘n'
noo ah huv fun th' maist marvelous web hingy ‘at translate Sassenach tae
Scotish! Ah loue it! Sae th', 'ere comes th' tiext 'boon in Scottish… (Okay the
last sentence might be a bit redundant but I like the sound of it ;o)
An 'ere is ma blogger profile oan Scottish…
Juist
anither borin’ blog aboot an unusually borin’ lee 'n' knittin’ projects in an
attempt tae mak' this borin’ lee a bawherr mair stoatin' - 'n' och aye then
it's an' a' peppered wi' sporadic updates aboot a less than borin’ moggie.
A moggie wha is currently throwin’ up a' th' time - aw weys – 'n' wha is completely uncritical aboot whither it's in mah kip, oan th' buird or oan whitevur thare lays oan thes particular steid she plans tae throw up.
Okay
mebbe - bit ainlie mebbe - is thes hail post yin muckle skippin’ operation 'n'
redundant - bit mebbe - 'n' juist mebbe - it's vital sae ‘at ah kin continue
workin' oan mah completely appallin’ thesis.
Oan
a completely different topic - ah loue th' rid "Superkile" thare is
located reit near me. Superkilen is a project ‘at runs frae Nørrebrogade tae
Tagensvej alang Mjølnerparken o' Mimer Square 'n' places aroond th' Nørrebro
loaby. 'n' it's rid!
O'
coorse thaur ur aw sorts ay complaints, it shuid particularly gey slippery whin
dreich. Ah cam by th' ither day 'n' teuk a puckle picters 'n' keek juist howfur
bonny it's whin it's drookit.
Anyway back tae reality 'n' mah thesis - ah juist loue th' Scots translations, bit ah dae nae ken howfur tae translate it back intae plain Sassenach. Therefore, ye shuid likelie juist tak' th' contents o' this post at coopon value (thaur ur dictionaries ‘at kin translate yin wuid at a time bit Ah hardly think a'body woods botha tae check oot a' th' words – forby, th' translations shoon, micht be affected by dialects, whilk mak's it pernicketie tae keek up in a dictionary).
Fur a' th' non-Scottish o' hert - 'ere is some o' th' Scots tiext in plain auld Sassenach.
(For all the non-Scottish of heart - here is some of the Scottish text in plain old English.)
Fur a' th' non-Scottish o' hert - 'ere is some o' th' Scots tiext in plain auld Sassenach.

And here is my blogger profile in Scottish…
Just a nother boring blog about an unusually boring life and knitting projects in an attempt to make the boring life a little more exciting – and well it is spiced up with sporadic updates on a less than boring cat.
A cat who is currently throwing up all the time - everywhere – and who is completely uncritical about whether it is in my bed, on the table or on whatever that lays on this particular place she plans to throw up.
Okay maybe - but only perhaps - is this whole post one big skipping operation and redundant - but maybe - and just maybe - it is vital so that I can continue working on my completely appalling thesis.
On a completely different topic - I love the red "Superkile" is located right near me. Superkilen is a project that runs from Nørrebrogade to Tagensvej along Mjølnerparken of Mimer Square and places around Nørrebrohallen. And it is red!
Of course, there are all sorts of complaints; it should particularly very slippery when raining. I came by the other day and took a few pictures and look, just how beautiful it is when it is wet.
Anyway back to reality and my thesis - I just love the Scottish translations, but I do not know how to translate it back into plain English. Therefore, you should probably just take the contents of this post at face value (there are dictionaries that can translate one word at a time but I hardly think anyone would bother to check out all the words – besides, the translations shown, might be affected by dialects, which makes it difficult to look up in a dictionary).
